Out with the baby, and in with the terrible twos:

As the time keeps rolling by, the time is fast approaching for my son to become a two year old. Now everywhere I go and everyone I talk to is telling me how BAD this stage is. I hear, "They scream until they get what they want.", "They will throw themselves onto the floor in public.", and my personal favorite, "All day long all I hear if No, No, No." Then I look over at the sweet little face of my son and I wonder how something so sweet is going to become a "monster" known a a two year old.
Now don't get me wrong, I am excited that he is getting older. This is the time where he isn't as fragile and he can feed himself, yet I'm nervous about how he will be after the big 2 is upon us. Will he scream, will he fall out on the floor, will he just say "no", and the biggest question of all, "Will we survive this as parents?" Weigh in on this, what are some of your stories? What did you do to get through it? Are you in a similar boat right now too?
