I can hardly believe that the Christmas is so close now! Wow! If you are like me and you love to cook wholesome food to keep warm during the cold then you will love my new series of comfort cooking. I love these times and I will be sharing my love of cooking comfort foods with you!

Today we are making Spaghetti and meat sauce. I have my favorite cooking buddy with me today! Children are always the best little helpers.

We sauteed onions, garlic, and a yellow pepper in a pan with spinach for color.

In the end we made a Spaghetti and meat sauce. I love this comfort food so delicious, and so easy to make. Enjoy and cook it with someone you love!
1 Box of spaghetti noodles
1 can of spaghetti sauce, or 5 tomatoes cooked and smashed
1 yellow pepper, chopped
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, chopped
1 Ib. ground beef or a meat of you choice
1/3 cup spinach for color, if desired
Start by browning the meat. Drain the meat and set aside, then sautéed the onion, garlic cloves, and yellow peppers in a pan for about 15 minutes. After the vegetables are browned add in the meat that was drained and the red sauce. Cook on low while you cook the noodles in water for 10 minutes, until they are done. After the noodles are done drain and serve with hearty helping of sauce.
